Three months ago, we released “Stack Dependencies,” which allows ControlMonkey users to execute and apply Terraform/OpenTofu Stacks in any specific order/hierarchy, including the option to pass outputs between stacks
Today, we are pleased to announce that we have enhanced the Stack Dependencies feature with a visual graph representation of all the dependent stacks.
As a reminder, with Stack Dependencies, you can create a flow of interdependent stacks that run in a custom-defined order, with critical information passed from one to another.
This provides a deeper granularity and control over what triggers each Terraform/OpenTofu Stack and the inputs and outputs required for a successful execution.
With the implementation of the Stack Dependencies Graph, a comprehensive overview of all configured stack dependencies is now accessible.
This visualization tool clearly represents the interdependencies between different stacks, providing a simple view of their triggering relationships.
ControlMonkey users leveraging Stack Dependencies now gain a simplified view of the relationship between stacks, making it easier for them to understand their infrastructure orchestration flow.
